First 2019 Penpal Letter!

Finally! Someone wrote back. I sent a LOT of first letters out there and finally got a response, yesterday. It is a wonderful letter, too ... with great add-ins. I think I am going to enjoy an enduring friendship with this one, just have a feeling about it.

Out: Postcards for Postcrossing

I love it when I have the right postcards. Part of the fun is having something that you know the recipient is likely to enjoy. I think I pulled it out, this time.
These three are traveling to:
China

Germany

and the Philippines

Postcards United

Made a couple of new postcard discoveries, last night! There is another postcard exchange site. Clearly, it is patterned after Postcrossing.com but who cares - more postcards to exchange! 😂 It is called Postcards United. I signed up of course, and registered 7 postcards to send out. Just need to stamp and mail them, this afternoon.
Truly excited about having more ways to send and receive postcards!

New Postcrossing Profile

I am no longer Postcrossing as khmstree ... Last year, there just wasn’t any time for my favorite hobby, so I have a new profile: pakhm ... It is weird to go from 20+ postcards at a time, to just 5 but it is convenient, at the same time. So far, I have sent 7 cards out. Three, have been registered, so far. The others are traveling to the other side of the earth, so I was not expecting a quick turn around.

The three that have been received:
To the U.S.
To Germany
To Belgium

Prepping Today’s Outgoing

About to send out 1st letter #6, for this year...
I have sent out 5 already but have not received any replies as of yet, but I remain hopeful that one or two of them will connect.
